Largest Cyclone in living memory to hit Queensland!
ABC News is providing invaluable suggestions on how to keep safe during this enormous cyclone. Set up a bunker/safe room in your house, padding the walls with mattresses and similar matterial. Ensure you have enough water for three days. Put on shoes, so that if you must walk on debris later, your feet are protected. Have enough food for a few days. Put sticky tape on your windows. During the cyclone, mobile telephones may not be working, and emergency workers may not be available; emergency workers need to keep safe too but will perform their invaluable work after the cyclone has passed. Keep yourself, your loved ones, neighbours and animals in your care, safe. Sending our love, positive vibes, thoughts, and prayers your way.
