Haunting and spectacular angelic music...
"The Host of the Seraphim" by the Dead Can Dance, sung by the extraordinary Lisa Gerrard, was first released in 1988. I first heard this song as part of the soundtrack to the spiritual-environmental film "Baraka". This song explores the complete range of human emotions and experiences, from exaltation to despair, self-exploration to the miracle of existence. The Seraphim is a celestial being, serpentine and angelic. A high vibrational song perfect for meditative and contemplative practice.
