Personally, I think this documentary is a lot of "hooey" but still interesting to watch. Nostradamus made many predictions, and there are certainly those prophecies that look accurate; however, he never attached dates to his predictions and often the prophecies were written in such a way that it was difficult to understand fully what they meant until after the fact. I have always found Nostradamus and his prophecies highly fascinating, but to say that he told us that the end of the world will happen at the end of this year, in my opinion, is irresponsible as well as incredibly wrong.
The Mayans did not predict that the end of the world would happen at the end of this year either. They said this was the ending of the "Fourth Age of Humanity", but the Mayans believed there were six stages of humanity. It is true that we seem to be enduring more natural catastrophes than ever before, but many are the natural result of humankind's destructive activities which have upset the natural balance of our beautiful planet's ecosystems. Let's look after ourselves and each other, and the planet that bore us, and whenever the world comes to an end (which will not be at the end of this year), we will be happy with the contribution we have made to life and our world.
